Viewing will be at 9 AM with a service at 11 AM, Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at the Grace United Methodist Church, 11700 Old Fort Road, Fort Washington.

Family's announcement:
William Maurice Thomas, Jr., 85, father of Patricia Yorkman, passed on this Good Friday evening at Southern Maryland Hospital of congestive heart failure.  He was a Tuskegee Airman, a civil rights activist of many years in Washington, D. C. and Prince George's County, Maryland, as well as a civic affairs activist preserving local heritage in Maryland.  He leaves a loving family of six children, twelve grand-children and three great grand-children.
